Wendy joined Queen City Financial Advisors in April 2014 as the assistant to Neil Bourgeois. Wendy’s ability to multi-task and prioritize has already made her an invaluable asset to Neil’s practice, as she manages the many responsibilities and duties assigned to her, the most important of which is helping to keep Neil on track. Her extensive computer and technical knowledge has made her a major contributor to the office in streamlining processes and follow-up procedures. Wendy has accepted the challenge of not only rejoining the workforce, but making a complete career change, with confidence and professionalism.
Before joining Queen City Financial Advisors, Wendy worked at the law firm of Manley Burke as a Legal Assistant for 11 years. Her experience with the firm exposed her to a variety of legal matters and developed her aptitude for administrative support and high attention to detail in a professional environment. Wendy attended Colerain Career Center to study Administrative Support, and has also completed Microsoft user training. She plans to obtain her Series 6 securities license to expand her knowledge of the financial industry. Wendy left her position with Manley Burke in 2010 to become a stay-at-home mother while her husband was doing extensive, overseas traveling to Germany and Malaysia for his company.
Wendy has been married to her childhood sweetheart, Chuck, for 15 years. They live in the small suburb of Bright, Indiana with their two children, Owen and Emily. Wendy and Chuck enjoy camping, hiking, and being involved in their children’s activities, which include boxing, Boy Scouts, soccer and dance. Wendy is also a natural light and studio photographer specializing in senior, newborn, infant and family photography. She also enjoys taking pictures of various things and selling her work online, digital scrapbooking, reading, extreme aerobics and spending time with friends.
